A live milonga

At the Noche de 22 Estrellas, three of the most renowned tango orchestras of the international scene play in turn live, tanda by tanda — all night long. Even the cortinas are played live.

Lauter Blech
Bremen brass band, since 1981
Fifteen musicians with a taste for unruly sounds — klezmer and classical, Weill and Westbrook, film scores and marches. On the night they play the live cortinas between the tandas.

Reservation via our form, payment by bank transfer in advance — no external ticketing platform. The social ticket is based on honest self-assessment, no proof required.

The venue
Kulturkirche St. Stephani
With its 25-metre-high nave, the Stephani church offers an incomparable acoustic experience. This gracefully proportioned basilica, with its dance floor of over 300 square metres, is made for a night like this — with 22 Estrellas on three stages.
