About the orchestra
La Juan D'Arienzo was founded in 2012 to bring the defining style of the historic orchestra leader Juan D'Arienzo back to life. Known as „El Rey del Compás", the king of the beat, D'Arienzo still stands for rhythmic clarity, energy and immediate danceability. Led by bandoneonist Facundo Lázzari and with singer Fernando Rodas, the orchestra has, by its own account, played numerous tours across Europe, the Americas and Asia. At the Noche de 22 Estrellas, La Juan D'Arienzo brings to the stage that powerful, danceable pulse inseparably tied to the D'Arienzo name.
